Business enquiries
Once the contact form is enabled and you confirm submission, we will store the details you provide: name, business, location, category, email or phone, optional description and permission to contact you. These are used to manage and review your enquiry. They are not automatically published and do not subscribe you to advertising.
Explorando Lugares is responsible for processing the data received through this portal. Information about use, retention and enquiries is gathered in this policy. Submission is only enabled when receiving requests has been configured securely.

Identify the information or listing concerned and describe your request. We will verify your identity or authority to act when necessary and respond within the applicable legal deadlines.
This channel also handles requests concerning personal data obtained from public sources.
Access and operation
Only the authorised administrator can view enquiries. The server uses a necessary session cookie to protect forms and private access. The hosting provider may keep technical logs. Abuse prevention uses identifiers derived from the connection; these are not included in the public directory.
The illustrations are conceptual. The Jericó photograph retains its attribution and licence. Credit links lead to websites with their own policies.

Portal statistics
We count page views, business views and contact clicks as aggregates. The connection country is derived temporarily from the IP using a local database; we neither store the IP in these statistics nor send it to a geolocation provider. We use no analytics cookies or identifiers to recognise visitors or reconstruct their journeys. Counts do not represent unique people, conversations or sales. Historical aggregates have no automatic age-based deletion. You can exclude this browser through “Privacy and statistics” in the footer. This local preference is separate from necessary login cookies and the hosting security logs.
